How Ginger Nut Deliver
Our training delivery is based on a remote, blended model of one-to-one sessions, at least every 4 weeks, group sessions, webinars, online courses, video, and additional support as required. This means that our learners have the guidance they need as well as the flexibility to learn around the requirements of their jobs. We find that this approach reduces disruption for the learners and their line managers giving everyone the best chance of benefitting from the training and completing the course.
To support learning, all learners are given access to LinkedIn Learning, with bespoke channels designed to support their apprenticeship.
Alongside the standard we deliver additional training in core technologies, depending on what the apprentice is using in the workplace – including SQL, Python, Microsoft Power Platform and others as required.
- A broad range of tools and techniques used in identifying problems analysing these and finding solutions
- Requirements elicitation to identify business needs and user needs
- Identification of business functional and nonfunctional requirements
- Identification of data requirements relating to business improvements
- Assessment of drivers and other aspects such as costs leading to business change
Project Activity and Portfolio Building
Evidence collected will cover knowledge, skills and behaviours and helps the learner build the experience and portfolios they need to successfully complete their apprenticeship.
Gateway and End Point Assessment
We also give the learners mock presentations and EPA interviews to ensure they are ready for the End Point Assessment and know precisely what to expect at all points in the process. The EPA itself includes:
- Portfolio –produced towards the end of the apprenticeship, containing evidence from work done during the apprenticeship.
- Project Proposal – a 5,000 word proposal for a work based project will need to be submitted within 6 weeks of approval.
- Presentation with questioning) – a 15 minute presentation followed by 30 minutes of questioning on the project proposal
- A structured interview with an assessor – exploring the portfolio
