In 2025, Ginger Nut Training proudly marks 10 years of delivering high-quality apprenticeships across England — a journey that began with a passion for supporting learners and employers, and has grown into a nationally recognised training provider.
From Employer to Provider: Our Story
Our roots go back to 2014, when our sister company, Ginger Nut Media, was named one of the City & Guilds Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers — an honour we received again in 2015 and 2017. Inspired by the impact apprenticeships had on our own business, we began delivering training in 2015 as a subcontractor, before becoming a directly funded, registered training provider in 2017.
Starting in Colchester and Essex, we’ve since expanded to support employers and apprentices nationwide.

We’re incredibly proud of our team’s achievement of a cross-course QAR (Qualification Achievement Rate) of 80.2%, which is 19.7% above the national average. This reflects our commitment to delivering outstanding outcomes for both learners and the businesses that invest in them.
