Who are we – and why does learning matter to us?
At Ginger Nut Training, we deliver training for apprenticeship programmes that range from Office, Marketing and Digital qualifications.
We have been delivering apprenticeships since 2015, are rated Good in all areas by Ofsted (last visited February 2024), accredited by Matrix, reviewed at 5* on Google, with 85% of reviewers rating us as excellent on Trust Pilot.

We grew from a successful marketing background as part of Ginger Nut Media Ltd. Since 2011 we have directly been involved with training over 30 apprentices within our own advertising company.
We believe that high-quality, work-based training is a powerful way to unlock potential, nurture talent, and open new doors for individuals and organisations alike. The world of apprenticeships is evolving, and we are passionate about supporting people at every stage of their journey—whether you’re looking to recruit and develop new talent or upskill your existing team.

Our apprenticeship programmes are designed to empower learners, strengthen businesses, and make a real difference in people’s lives. Whatever your goals, we’re here to help you build a brighter future through skills, support, and opportunity.
This commitment to accessible, meaningful and lifelong learning is at the heart of why we are proud to support the Get the Nation Learning Charter.
Learning for everyone
Ginger Nut Training thrive on ensuring that individuals are aware of what apprenticeships are and how the benefits that they can offer.
For many young people, they can be unsure of what they want to do after they finish education, with the general belief that going to university or going straight into work are the only options available to them. We want to help change that perception and make sure that apprenticeships can provide an additional route into a rewarding career, combining practical, work-based experience with nationally recognised qualifications.
On the other hand, apprenticeships are not just for young people entering the workplace for the first time. They can also provide a valuable opportunity to individuals who are experienced in the workplace and are looking to develop new skills or upskill themselves, whether this be in a marketing, digital or office sector. We believe that there should be opportunities for everybody, no matter what stage they are at in their career.
Moreover, we believe at Ginger Nut Training that supporting access to learning means providing honest and helpful information, advice and guidance, even if this results in pointing someone who is enquiring in a different direction. When we have someone contact us about apprenticeships, we take the time to understand what they are looking for, whether that be an employer looking to recruit an apprentice or an individual aspiring to take on an apprenticeship themselves. In the scenario that we do not offer the training for a specific course or there are no vacancies available for an apprenticeship in a certain area, we signpost them towards the relevant resources that will support their search going forward.
We believe that everyone should be well informed of the benefits of apprenticeships, as well as the opportunity to learn, develop their skills and take the next step forward in their career.

1 – Learners first
We work hard to assist our learners in achieving their potential, inspiring and equipping staff with the skills, knowledge and confidence to succeed.
2 – Industry Experts
All of our apprenticeships are delivered by industry experts. Through our membership of multiple industry steering groups, we remain at the forefront of apprenticeship delivery and industry developments.
3 – Committed to widening access into employment and training
Working with organisations across England, we widen access into employment, support career progression and help more people enrol on apprenticeship training with us. We offer free support for learners including CV writing and interview preparation. We are proud to support local councils, JobCentre Plus and the Prince’s Trust to help people access the training we provide.
4 – Partnership working
We only work with selected employers in the UK. Our employer engagement manager assists employers in addressing skills gaps, identifying training needs and making best use of their apprenticeship levy contributions. We create unique packages of learning built around their workforce needs and aligned to their strategy.
5 – Quality is at the heart of all that we do
Award winning and quality assured, we are proud to deliver high quality apprenticeship training and have a robust quality assurance process in place to build on our success to date.
Learning that makes a difference
We have seen a positive impact first-hand that learning and development has had on our previous learners. From building confidence and new skills to achieving more outside of their apprenticeship, such as:
Sabir Mamon

Sabir recently took part in a powerful initiative with London Sight Loss Councils, aimed at improving urban accessibility for blind and partially sighted people. Sight Loss Councils, funded by Thomas Pocklington Trust, are regional groups led by blind and partially sighted (BPS) volunteers. Together, we use our lived experience to tackle the things that really matter to blind and partially sighted people, every day. The team at Lime joined a sim-spec walk, where they experienced firsthand the challenges faced by individuals with sight loss when navigating public spaces—especially with the growing presence of e-bikes and e-scooters.
Stephanie Puntschart
As a young parent with lived experience of the care system, Stephanie identified a gap in support for others like her. In her own time, she developed a heartfelt and practical proposal for a Parent & Baby Support Group aimed at young parents leaving care. She then presented her vision to local councillors, advocating for a safe, inclusive space where young parents can connect, learn, and grow.
Thanks to her initiative and determination, Stephanie has now been given the green light to launch the group.
Bruce Sears

APM apprentice Bruce Sears and two friends, Darran Sands and Rob Buckland are looking to support St Elizabeth Hospice.
Starting in Aviemore, Scotland they are doing a 52km (32miles) hike around some “hills” doing a 1928m elevation accent, the April forecast looks icy so thought why not wild camp too. They’ll carry all their camping stuff too just to make it more entertaining.
This self funded, wild camping trek expedition is Rob & Darran’s idea of “fun” and Bruce stuck his hand up (way to fast), but is now committed. Raising some money for this charity is a brilliant incentive to make it happen and complete the route.
Ania Bagot

As part of the Ginger Nut Training fundraising team, Ania took on the challenge of cycling the Fylde Coast, covering a route through Lytham, Blackpool, Cleveleys and Fleetwood before returning. Completing the ride alongside family support, Ania’s contribution reflects the commitment and collaborative spirit that underpins our social impact activity. Her efforts helped raise vital funds for Comfort Cases UK, supporting children entering the care system with dignity and essential items.
