Inspirational Youth Awards 2026
Ginger Nut Training was proud to be named Apprenticeship Champion of the Year at the 2026 Inspirational Youth Awards. This recognition reflects our commitment to creating inclusive, supportive apprenticeship pathways and championing learner success. The award was strongly influenced by the achievements of our apprentice, Grace McDougall, whose impact and progression exemplify the positive difference apprenticeships can make when the right support is in place.

National Highly Commended Small Employer of the Year 2017

In January 2018 our sister company Ginger Nut Media were proud recipients of National Highly Commended Small Employer of the Year 2017 for their continued dedication to developing young people through the apprenticeship scheme. But more importantly, are proud to play a part in enabling young people to achieve their potenital; creating a highly skilled, creative and flexible workforce capable of keeping them at the forefront of the digital marketing sector.
Daryl (Daryl Miller HR Project Manager) from Colchester Borough Council said “it has been a privilege to accompany ‘gingernut’ to the National Apprenticeship Awards. They are an excellent training provider and have been really supportive in getting CBCs apprenticeship programme launched in 2017/18.”
We along with Ginger Nut Media plan on continuing and growing the apprenticeship scheme not only within the digital marketing sector, but all sectors across the network.
In 2014, 2015 and 2017 our sister company Ginger Nut Media were placed in The City & Guilds Top 100 Apprenticeships Employers. We are very proud to be listed alongside names such as ITV, Santander, and Ford. Our aim is to provide the best opportunities for our apprentices across a wide range of work areas.
Further Education/Vocational Education Provider of the Year
In October 2017 our sister company Ginger Nut Media were rewarded with the Regional Award for Small Employer of the Year and are recognised as one of the nation’s top apprenticeship employers of the year.
In November 2014 our sister company Ginger Nut Media were rewarded with the Virgin Trains Award for Newcomer SME of the Year and is recognised as one of the nation’s top apprenticeship employers of the year.
In 2015 our sister company Ginger Nut Media was awarded the All About School Leavers Best Level of Support Award. We have also been listed as the 17th Top Employer for School & College Leavers 2015-16 and were up against companies such as National Grid, Visa Europe, Virgin Media and Jaguar Land Rover.
At the 2015 Regional National Apprenticeship Awards we were highly commended in the small employer category.
