Overview
This apprenticeship equips learners under the age of 25, with the fundamental knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to perform routine administrative duties confidently and professionally. It is ideal for individuals starting their career journey, returning to work, or seeking an accessible entry point into business administration roles.
Assistant Administrators play an essential role in supporting efficient organisational operations across all sectors, following set procedures and working under supervision.

Typical Duties
  • Communicating with stakeholders using appropriate channels
  • Supporting internal/external meetings or events
  • Maintaining secure filing systems
  • Updating records, databases, CRM entries or routine reports
  • Organising basic office tasks and providing team support

Assessment & End‑Point Assessment
EPA occurs after the 12‑month on‑programme period and includes:
  1. Portfolio‑based Interview
    • Apprentice presents a portfolio containing 16–18 pieces of evidence
    • IEPA questions assess competence across CPD, policy understanding, operational activity and organisational context
    • Interview lasts a minimum of 60 minutes
  2. Presentation & Q&A
    • Apprentice presents on workstation review, communication examples, use of software/cloud platforms, and scheduling systems
    • Followed by structured Q&A
