Have Your Say: Become a Learner Representative

Help shape the apprenticeship experience for yourself and future learners.

What Is Learner Voice?
At Ginger Nut Training, we believe apprentices should play an active role in shaping their learning experience. Learner Voice is your opportunity to influence how we deliver training, develop resources, and continuously improve our programmes.

Your feedback directly helps us build a better, more supportive experience for all apprentices.

What Is a Learner Representative?

Learner Representatives act as the voice of the apprentice community. They share experiences, raise questions, and provide constructive feedback to help us maintain high‑quality training and support.

This includes discussing learner surveys, training delivery, resources, and the overall apprenticeship journey.

What Does the Role Involve?

Learner Representatives:

  • Attend quarterly Governors’ Meetings with Ginger Nut Training Governors, Directors, Centre Manager, and other learner representatives.
  • Typically join the first hour of each meeting (meetings run 5pm–7pm).
  • Provide input on topics raised during meetings, including learner satisfaction survey results.
  • Share feedback on the learner journey and day‑to‑day experience of being an apprentice.
What Are the Benefits?
  • A great experience to add to your CV and future applications.
  • Help shape the quality of training for current and future apprentices.
  • Ginger Nut Training will donate to a charity of your choice on your behalf for your attendance and contribution.
  • Gain experience contributing to professional meetings and decision‑making groups.
